Sunday School
Sunday School at Grace Bible Church exists to teach the Word of God to every age.
Each Sunday before the morning service, we gather by age group to study Scripture at a depth suited to where each person is, from toddlers hearing their first Bible stories to adults digging into the text verse by verse. Our aim is simple: to ground every believer in sound doctrine and to help each person grow in the knowledge of Christ.
We see this ministry as a partnership with parents. God has given fathers and mothers the primary responsibility to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4, LSB), and Sunday School comes alongside that work, reinforcing at church what is being taught at home.

Moving Up: Graduation Day
On the last Sunday of August, we hold Graduation Day. Students move up into their next class as they grow, so each child is always learning alongside peers at a similar stage.
Send your child to their new class if they:
- Reached the starting age for the next class since the beginning of summer, or
- Will reach that starting age before May of the following year.
Starting ages for each class:
- Toddler begins at age 3
- Elementary begins at age 7
- Middle School begins at age 12
- Young Men & Young Women begin at age 16
- Adult opens at age 18 (see note below)
Please note: the Toddler class works a little differently. Children join Toddler when they turn 3, rather than on the summer-to-May schedule above.
Young Men and Young Women runs through age 21. Once a student turns 18, they may move up to the Adult class at Graduation Day if they wish, or remain in Young Men or Young Women through age 21. The timing is up to each student, depending on their preference and maturity.
Not sure which class your child belongs in? Ask a Sunday School volunteer, Deacon, or Elder before 9:45am and they will help place them.
New Here?
Visiting for the first time? Simply bring your child to the class that matches their current age; you will find locations listed above. If you are unsure or need help, a Deacon or Elder would be glad to assist you before classes begin at 9:45am. We are glad you are here.
